I finally beat Diablo 2 Resurrected on Normal last night, and after two hours on Nightmare difficulty, my worst fears from Path of Exile were realized; just like in that game, my build hit a wall because I don't plan for synergies 30 levels ago. Plus there's a 40% penalty to all resistances for Nightmare, because apparently that's supposed to be more fun, and certainly doesn't erase 15 hours of grinding points into resistances.
